The views of the valley from the guest room balconies and the circular restaurant, the swimming pool surrounded by a large garden, the magnificent spa with indoor swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, solarium and massage menu ... who could ask for more?
Vielha is the capital of the Vall d'Aran district. It offers a combination of serene mountain air and the lively hustle and bustle of a major tourist attraction. Along its streets you will discover lovely houses and shops selling handicrafts and local gourmet specialties. If you would like to learn about the customs of the people of the Arán Valley, pay a visit to the Tor deth Generau Martinhon, a 17th-century palace that is now home to a fascinating ethnological museum. If you visit Sant Miquèu Church, you will be able to view a Romanesque sculpture of Christ dating from the 12th century and the famous “cupboard with seven locks,” where the valley's documents were stored. Vielha is a city to fall in love with, both summer and winter, and the Parador offers a fantastic opportunity to experience it.
